Manhattan: East River Drive - 24th Street (East)
East River Drive (under construction) north from E. 25th Street, as photographed from atop the J. J. Little and Ives Co. Building at No. 425-35 E. 24th St. The shoreline is being extended to provide for same. The enclosed pier, (foot of 25th St.) an annex to the Municipal Lodging House will eventually be removed. The institutional structures are wings of Bellevue Hospital. Across the river is the Greenpoint--Long Island City shore and in the distance, the Queensboro Bridge can be discerned.
