Manhattan: 40th Street (West) - 5th Avenue

Construction work on the American Radiator Building, 38-44 West 40th Street, south side, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. The view is west along the south side of 40th Street from 32 West 40th Street. The building at the left is the Engineers' Club. The first building above the row of four-story buildings is the Republican Club. October 18, 1923. Peyser & Patzig.
