Manhattan: Greenwich Street - Trinity Place

The convergence of Greenwich Street (left) and Trinity Place (right), at Morris Street. Shown at that point is the triangular structure that separates the first two mentioned thoroughfares. This building bears No. 28 Greenwich Street. Note the fact that the Sixth Avenue Elevated that formerly ran on Trinity Place has been removed. The Ninth Avenue Line that still remains on Greenwich Street is to be demolished sometime in 1940-1. At the left margin is a portion of the 35 story No. 19 Rector Street Building. Thru the center is the Electric Bond & Share Building. On the right, and separated by Trinity Churchyard are the Trinity and the Empire Buildings. April 28, 1940 P. L.
