Bronx: Bronx Park - Boston Road

Bronx Park: A view of an old house and the Peter Lorillard stable (left) on the south side of Boston Road between the Bronx River and Bronx Park East in the village of Bronxdale. Bronxdale is at this date (1938) a part of Bronx Park, the village having been incorporated into the park in about 1911. Randall Comfort states that the Lorillard stable was moved to the above location from the Lorillard estate which was located along the Bronx River. 1906 Randall Comfort
