Manhattan: 94th Street (West) - Amsterdam Avenue

171 to 165 W. 94th Street, north side, east of Amsterdam Avenue, showing at the left center, a building that is being converted into a Buddhist Temple by the New York Buddhist Church and which will be conducted by Hozen Seki of No. 121 W. 79th Street. This individual and his wife have been conducting similar services at their home for the last year and state that this new place of worship will be the first of its kind in the eastern part of this country.
