John L. Sullivan's saloon, 1177 Broadway, west side, between 27th and 28th Streets. Sullivan opened the saloon after losing his title to James J. Corbett and his precedent has been followed by Corbett and Jack Dempsey, to mention only two names. On the first floor fire escape is a life-size billboard of Colonel William F. Cody, (Buffalo Bill).
