Manhattan: Wall Street - Water Street

Wall Street and environs, west from Water Street, showing office structures forming the financial district. The skyscraper under construction is the 70 storied Bank of Manhattan at No. 40 Wall Street. To the left is the 35 story Wall and Hanover Building. To the right are, the 26-story building (No. 62-67 Pine Street) at the rear of No. 60 Wall Street (H.L. Dougherty and Company), the domed Singer Building, the massive Equitable Building, the modern No. 1 Cedar Street, the Transportation Building and the ornate Woolworth Building. Note on Wall Street the glimpses of the Bankers Trust Company (pyramidal tower), the Electric Bond and Share Building and the New York Stock Exchange Building. The triangular structures in the left foreground are respectively the 15 storied Beaver Building and the 25 story Munson S.S. Line Building.
