Manhattan: Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park: The Garibaldi bronze by G. Turini; presented to the City by the Italians of the United States and erected here in 1888. It stands in the N.E. corner of the park. The apartment house shown is No. 1 Fifth Ave. and forms an interesting contrast. September 26, 1936. P. L. Sperr.
