Manhattan: 34th Street (East) - 3rd Avenue

E. 34th Street, south side, east of Third Avenue, to the East River, showing structures that will face the entrance to the 38th Street tunnel under the East River. The New York Times of Jan. 23, 1938 reported the proposed construction of a 9 story glass brick apartment house on the sites of No's 222-228.
