General view - [Manhattan] - Centre Street - Park Row - Municipal Building.

A general view northwestward (in No. 1) and northward (in No. 2) from atop the Municipal Building at Park Row and Center Street. The first view shows business area lying between Broadway and the North (Hudson) River. Upon the latter and silhouetted against the Jersey shore is the S. S. "Normandie". View No. 2 is northward up Centre Street and shows in the foreground several civic buildings including the Tombs and the Criminal Courts Building.
