Manhattan: West Broadway - Spring Street
West Broadway, north from a point slightly to the south of Spring Street and across same, showing mainly the easterly side of this thoroughfare. In the foreground appears a truck loaded with either industrial waste cotton or scrap paper. At the right are several low structures that were purchased by the Cranford Holding Co. from Mrs. Leslie and who now have a plot of 10,000 square feet here. This was reported by the New York Times of October 20, 1937. The two 2½-story buildings (No's 395 and 397) that formerly adjoined have been demolished and the first replaced by a garage.
