85 State Street, east side, between Castleton Avenue and Noale Place, showing the West New Brighton sub-branch of the New York Public Library. The sub-branch moved to the above address from 848 Castleton Avenue in 1923. In 1932 the sub-branch became a branch of the New York Public Library and moved into new quarters at 976 Castleton Avenue. 1924 P. L. Sperr
