Transportation - Railroads - New York Central Railroad - Engine and train.

Transportation: A N. Y. C. R. R. engine and train on Tenth Avenue at W. 39th Street. This thoroughfare was one of those popularly known as "Railroad Avenue" because of their use by the R. R. Co. Subsequent to 1933, they will use a continuous elevated highway south of this point. Northward an undercut will be utilized. This is a portion of the West Side Improvement Project.
