Manhattan: 35th Street (East) - 2nd Avenue

E. 35th Street, east from Second Avenue to the East River, showing buildings on the south side of this thoroughfare facing St. Gabriel's Park. Slightly east of the Avenue is the four story building housing The Institute of Public Administration of Columbia University (No. 302-306). This formerly housed the College of Dental and Oral Surgery and which now occupies a new structure on 34th Street. To the left margin appears the shadowy outline of the New York Steam Co. plant that is between First Avenue and the river.
