Brooklyn: Cropsey Avenue - 7th Avenue
Cropsey Ave., (old), which is no longer in existence, between Seventh Ave., (left), and Bennett's Lane (right), neither of which are shown. At the right is the home of S.A. Sharp, which does not appear on any map subsequent to 1873. Cropsey Ave., at this point make a right angle turn as shown, upon which the mounted individual is progressing southward. Fort Hamilton reservation is at the left. To-day (1937), this area is the golf course of Dyker Beach Park. About 1895. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
