Manhattan: West End Avenue - 88th Street (West)

(1) 587-89 and 591-95 West End Avenue, west side, between 88th and 89th Streets. The maid is standing in the kitchen door of 585. These houses were built in the late 1880's. 591-97 will be replaced in 1924 by a fifteen story apartment building, and 581-89 will be similarly replaced before 1930. About 1910.
