Brooklyn: Bushwick Avenue - Gates Avenue

Bushwick Ave., at the N.W. corner of Gates Ave., showing the Frank Ibert house, owner of the Frank Ibert Brewing Co. This home stood on Evergreen Ave., until about 1892, and belonged to the estate of Burr and Wakeman. On its new site, its owner was Frank Hyde of Hyde and Blood. At one time it was the Unity Republican Club. Watson Bowron owned this site in 1855. January 4, 1923. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
