(1) peddlers - Refreshments - Pretzels: A pretzel vendor at Union Square. This shot was taken on the 14th Street side of same and shows a view eastward from Broadway (right). May 1, 1937. P. L. Sperr. (2) Another pretzel vendor, on Union Square East and showing an extensive view northward on same. Individuals shown were marchers in the May Day Parade, which disbanded at this point.
