Brooklyn: 36th Street - 6th Avenue
36th Street (foreground not seen) at Sixth Ave., showing the Brooklyn Rapid Transit terminal yards. At the extreme left on the top of the hill is No. 456-466 39th Street, at the N.W. corner of Seventh Ave. The "Old Road to Flatbush", and Gowanus Road extending north and south met in the foreground just north of 36th Street near Sixth Ave. The Gunther line to Coney Island extended east and southeast skirting the east side of Greenwood Cemetery, parallel to the freight line, upon which are seen the freight cars.
