Queens: Jamaica Avenue - 187th Street

Jamaica Ave., south side, opposite 187th Street, showing William Moag's farmhouse. The original part of this house is the wing. J. Van Thun was the owner in 1891. Beinbrick's saloon at one time; he build the rest of the house. The daughter of William Moag sold it about 1924 to the Scranton and Lehigh Coal Company who demolished it. On the north side of Jamaica Ave. opposite this house was a toll house. This is a set of three views. 1922. View 2: September 1923. View 3: April, 1925. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
