Manhattan: 12th Avenue - 55th Street

Twelfth Avenue, at the N.E. corner of W. 55th Street, showing the 6 story Rishel Building at that location. Behind same appears the smoke stack of the Dept. of Sanitation. This civic unit in 1937 will have a modern incinerator plant here occupying the entire avenue frontage from 57th to 55th Streets.
