Manhattan: Riverside Park - 81st Street (West).

Riverside Park: A northward view in same from a point on a line with West 81st Street, showing the marginal lands being filled in preparatory to landscaping. In 1937, civic authorities will throw open to the public this redesigned area in a form difficult to recognize. A brochure was published at that time under the title "The West Side Improvement Project" containing photographs and written matter pertinent to this locality. March 29, 1929. P. L. Sperr.
