Queens: Jackson Avenue - 51st Avenue

Jackson Avenue, south side, at 51st Avenue. These buildings were later razed and the area made part of the sunken plaza of the Queens-Midtown Tunnel. The entrance to the tunnel is below the street level on the exact site of these houses. November 22, 1938 New York City Tunnel Authority
