Brooklyn: Fulton Street - Johnson Street

Fulton Street (left), north from Johnson Street, showing the area extending east to Washington Street (right, view 4), which the W. P. A. is constructing into a new and wider approach to the Brooklyn Bridge. This project necessitated the razing of many buildings. On the left is the Fulton Street "El" and the loop, above Tillary Street, leading to the elevated car yards on Washington Street.
