Manhattan: 6th Avenue - 32nd Street (West)
Sixth Avenue, west side, north from West 32nd Street. At this date the old "El" line has been demolished though the south-bound station remains. This is at 33rd Street and provides an entrance to the two department stores here, Gimbels and Saks, through an enclosed bridgeway. After the amicable adjustment by these stores, the Hudson Tube officials, the City and the "El" line authorities, the station will be removed. Beyond same appears the dominant Herald Square Building.
