1160 Cromwell Ave., at the N.E. corner of McClellan Street, showing the Cromwell Farm House. It was built shortly before the Revolution. The above location as given by Randall Comfort corresponds with that of Kelley's Historical Guide to New York. The G.W. Bromley map of 1923 as revised to September 1932 shows the site to be occupied by a 6-story apartment house. For additional data see Comfort's History of the Bronx, page 76. 1901.
