Southern Boulevard (running from extreme left foreground on which car tracks appear, to center of view, then turning right in front of buildings and proceeding to extreme right center), north from Hunts Point Ave. The semicircular building, in the center, is the Community Building, facing also on East 163rd Street (left). Contiguous to it on the north is the Hunts Point Palace and next to that, the Cecil Spooner Theatre. Adjoining the Community Building to the south is a 6-story house bearing Nos. 1011-1019 East 163rd Street, and is at the N.E. corner of Simpson Street. On the extreme left appears the front of a large apartment house at the S.W. corner of East 163rd Street, known as the Hunts Point. This area is colloquially called Hunts Point square.
