Brooklyn: Fulton Street - Crescent Street
Fulton Street, at the N.E. corner of Crescent Street. The corner building which faces both Fulton and Crescent Streets, are Nos. 3345-3351 and 229-233 respectively. The Fulton Street Elevated structure turns into Crescent Street, at this point. This building once known as the Lafayette Hotel (saloon) was operated by a Captain Hy. Koerner and later his widow, from 1872-1902. It was later known as Starks Old Roadhouse when it was damaged by fire on February 18, 1922. June 1925. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
