Sheepshead Bay - Brooklyn - South channel foot - Emmons Avenue.
Sheepshead Bay, southward, from a channel at the foot of Emmons Ave. (right). This is a set of two views which show the east (Plumb Beach) and west side of the channel. Note the row boat ferry near Plumb Beach, and its landing on the Sheepshead Bay side. This was the only means of transportation to the main land prior to the filling in of this area. July 13, 1933.
