35th Street, north side, east from the New York Central freight yards (formerly belonging to the West Shore Railroad) between Eleventh and Twelfth Avenues. The tall building on the N.E. corner of Eleventh Avenue is R. H. Macy's factory, built about 1922. July 9, 1932. P. L. Sperr.
