Fifth Avenue (left), at the N.E. corner of East 118th Street (foreground), showing rural conditions prevailing on a rocky ridge on the north side of 118th Street. To the left is the Avenue and Mt. Morris Park at 120th Street. The row of 3-story dwellings at the right are on the south side of 119th Street and extend to Madison Avenue. See View 2 for this thoroughfare.
