(1) Baxter Street, west side, north from Leonard (extreme left, not shown), and across Franklin (center) Streets, showing buildings at the corners of the latter point about to be demolished. Two entire blocks will eventually fall here and upon their sites will rise a new Criminal Courts Building, replacing the old structure on Center Street. Note at the right, the western edge of Columbus Park. February 5, 1930. P. L. Sperr. (2) A latter view from Franklin Street, showing the buildings at the N.W. corner already down, with the balance about to fall. The 10 and 12 story loft buildings seen across same are No's. 124-28-32 White Street. April 23, 1938. P. L. Sperr. (3) A northwestward view from the same vantage point as the preceding view.
