Manhattan: Rivington Street - Goerck Street

1938

Rivington Street, north side, west from Goerck Street, showing tenements interspersed with clearances. Upon the one in the foreground, which is between Goerck and Lewis Streets, stood three tenements that bore No's 314 to 318. To the west is the present recreation lot where former P.S. No. 88 formerly stood at the N.W. corner of Rivington and Lewis Streets. Note on the left margin a bare outline and the spire of the De Witt Memorial Church. June 29, 1938. P.L. Sperr
