East Houston Street, south side, west from (No. 47) but not including Mott, to Lafayette Streets, showing prominently the Puck Building (from Mulberry to Lafayette Streets). It is a handsome edifice in the Italian Renaissance style, and is occupied by the J. Ottman Lithographing Co., the foremost establishment of its kind on the American continent, and the magazine 'Puck', a publication satirizing the political and social life of our country. The building was erected sometime between the second and third quarters of the 19th century and is 9-stories tall. June 3, 1933. P. L. Sperr.
