Park Avenue, south from East 35th Street, showing prominently the towered 71st Regiment Armory at the S. E. corner of 34th Street. Note at the right the construction details of the Fred F. French constructed apartment house, No. 16 Park Avenue. Adjoining same is the Community Church at 34th Street. View 2 is thru the church clearance, where the apartment house, No. 10 Park Avenue is being erected. The utilitarian structure in the background is the well known No. 1 Park Avenue Building. See newspaper files for litigation between this corporation and Mrs. Bacon who sought to retain this address for her Swiss Chalet residence at the N. W. corner of 34th Street.
