60 E. 42nd Street, (Lincoln Building) south side, west of Pershing Square (general view northeastward). Merging on the left are the Grand Central Building, the Hotel Waldorf-Astoria and the General Electric Building. Numerous Sutton Place apartment structures are nestled on the right at the Queensboro Bridge approach. Beyond same is the white pile of the N. Y. Hospital-Cornell Medical College.
