Manhattan: Broadway - 43rd Street (West)

1493-1505 Broadway, west side, from West 43rd (left) to 44th (right) Streets, showing the 6-story Putnam Building that today (1937) has been replaced by the mammoth Paramount Building. Shown on the left and west of a row of 4-story structures (Nos. 207 to 215 inclusive) is the 4 and 11-story Times Annex. On the right appears a corner of the Hotel Astor. This area is known as Times Square, though the buildings bear Broadway numbers. About 1925. Brown Brothers.
