Brooklyn: Utica Ave. - Kings Hwy.

(1) Utica Ave., at the S.W. corner of King's Highway, showing the Kouwenhoven House, which was occupied by Captain Garret Kouwenhoven of the King's County Troop from 1860 to 1873, and by Garret S. Kouwenhoven during the years 1873-1903. Until 1904 its position was east of Utica Ave. The house was destroyed by fire in April 1925. 1922. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
