Manhattan: 6th Avenue - 42nd Street (West)

Sixth Avenue, at West 42nd Street, showing portions of the "El" station at that point, prior to demolition. This, by personal observation on the part of the writer, will occur in April of this year. The photographer is on the southbound platform and he is viewing across the tracks towards the opposite one. The stairway details are of his vantage point. The buildings here shown are at the N.
