Manhattan: Bedford Street - Commerce Street

(1) Bedford Street, southwest side, from Commerce Street to the eastern part of Morton Street (originally Ardens Street). This is a very good view of the old frame house at 77 Bedford Street, on the S.W. corner of Commerce Street. Adjoining it is 75 1/2 Bedford Street, the narrowest house in New York, barely ten feet wide, and supposed to be over a hundred years old.
