Manhattan: Spring Street - Varick Street

(1) Spring Street at,and adjoining and East of the South East corner of Varick Street. To and including 240 Spring Street,a little faced frame house. 256-254 Spring Street,the houses at and adjoining the South East corner of Varick Street were demolished in 1914 or 1915,when Varick St. was widened it's entire length at the expense of the East Side,during the construction of the West Side Interborough Line. The church is the Spring Street Presbyterian Church,which was built on that site in 1811,and in it's present form since 1835. P.L.Sperr, May 12th,1927 (2) The same.
