Manhattan: Spring Street - Varick Street

Spring Street Presbyterian Church, adjoining the S.E. corner of Varick Street. This edifice was built in 1835, on the site of the original Spring Street Church, which was built here in 1811 of material from the old First Church in Wall Street. This print, of course, fails to show the color of the church, the walls of which are a sort of salmon pink. June 23, 1933. P. L. Sperr.
