Queens: Roosevelt Avenue - St. George Road

Flushing Meadow Park (Queens): Northwestward across the marshes and the Whitestone branch of the Long Island Railroad, from the Roosevelt Avenue bridge over the Flushing River. In the background is Flushing Bay. This area was later transformed into an automobile parking space for the New York World's Fair of 1939-40. View 3 shows the same area being leveled out.
