Manhattan: West Broadway - Grand Street

West Broadway, west side, south from Watts (also Broome), to Grand Street's. This photograph is taken immediately subsequent to the demolition of the Sixth Avenue "El" and shows the buildings lining this block frontage. To the extreme left margin appears a glimpse of St. Alphonsus R. C. Church. This structure is to the south of Grand Street. July 25, 1939 P. L. Sperr
