Manhattan: 59th Street (West) - 10th Avenue

West 59th Street, south side, east from Tenth Avenue, showing details of the Roosevelt Hospital that occupies the entire block to Ninth Avenue. The Nurses Home is at Tenth Avenue; in the center is the Administration Bldg.; at the corner of Ninth Avenue is the famous Syms Operating Theatre. Across the glass enclosed roof of the latter, appears portions of the massive American Women's Association Club and Bldg. at 57th Street.
