Manhattan: 10th Avenue - 58th Street

Tenth Ave., east side, north from West 58th (right) Street. When north of the next intersection this thoroughfare changes its name to become Amsterdam Ave. The low buildings on the right are units of Roosevelt Hospital which occupies that entire block between 58th and 59th Streets, east from Tenth to Ninth Avenues. Occupying the westerly portion of the next block are units of the College of Physicians and Surgeons with the Sloane Maternity Hospital (7-story structure) at the N.E. corner of 59th Street and the Vanderbilt Clinic (3-story) at the S.E. corner of 60th Street.
