In the right foreground are the clustered commercial structures below 34th Street rising on Fourth, Madison and Fifth Avenues. These are dominated by the outstanding New York Life Insurance Co. Bldg. To the east are Lexington, Third and Second Avenues, the first of which apparently terminating with the towered Consolidated Edison Co. Bldg.
