Manhattan: 5th Avenue - 24th Street

Fifth Avenue, west side, south from 24th Street. At the right is the Fifth Avenue Building, which replaced the famous Fifth Avenue Hotel, and which it resembles, except in height. In the centre is the Fuller, or Flatiron Building, whose fabulous height of 21 stories made it one of the sights of New York in other days. On the left is the statue of Admiral Farragut by the great American sculptor, Augustus St. Gaudens. About 1924. Ewing Galloway.
