Manhattan: Park Avenue - 50th Street

Park Ave., east side, from East 50th to 51st Streets. Shown is St. Bartholomew's P.E. Church, organized in 1835. This congregation worshipped for many years in a church in Lafayette Place. A new church was erected in 1876 on Madison Ave., at the S.W. corner of East 44th Street. This present edifice being built in 1918-1919, on the site of the old F & M Schaefer Brewery.
