Queens: Newton Road - 47th Street

(1) Newtown Road, west from the S.E. corner of 47th Street, showing in their order, prominently NOS. 47-08, 46-16, 46-02, and 45-18. These houses are a few that remain in the Middleton settlement, started about 1800. This settlement was located on Newtown Ave., between Grand Ave. and Broadway. April 1923. Eugene L.
